2017 was a stellar year for movies, with titles like Lady Bird, Phantom Thread, The Last Jedi and The Shape of Water, among many others. But while January and February are usually slow, there's some big hitters coming to the cinemas this year. And since home viewing is taking over thanks to Netflix, HBO and Amazon, we're going to focus on downloads and streams.

We've seen some promising movie already, especially at Sundance and TIFF, and thanks to Where You Watch we're going to list the most anticipated movies.

First we've got the troubled by still promising Star Wars side project, Solo by Ron Howard.

Hereditary, a horror movie by production company A24.

The reboot of Spawn download

The animated movie Shrek 5 download

The Disney attraction turned movie Jungle Cruise.

Blindspotting download, the super hyped indie movie.

Keanu Reeves movie Replicas.

Nicolas Cage's Mandy, which premiered to great reviews at Sundance this year.

The new chapter in the Hellraiser series, titled Judgement

Summer of ’84 download, which is an '80s flick similar to Stranger Things.

A super cool indie flick, Like Me.

And then we've got a bunch of follow-ups, especially from Disney and Dreamworks. Including Minions 2 (although this one might slip into 2020), The Boss Baby 2, Universal’s acquisition of DreamWorks has led to a major focus on sequels, so if this one succeeds as well we might see quite a few ‘Boss Baby’ movies. Chris Renaud is returning to direct “The Secret Life of Pets 2”, although the cast will be mixed up a bit as the main character Max has been written out of the series. Sony has placed the sequel to “The Angry Birds Movie” in the hands of Thurop Van Orman, an animator known for creating the television series “The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack”. Michael B. Jordan is returning as Adonis Creed, in Creed 2, the son of Apollo, whose unpredictable aggressive tendencies are put towards his most personal opponent to date.
